Hey guys.

I had this issue when I applied for PR my employer who nominated me for BCPNP (PNP -No employer restrictions and open work post graduate work permit) started treating me very badly it was kind of harassment. I worked with this employer for almost 2.5 years when I felt i cant take it anymore I changed my employer with same job title in middle of my federal PR process. I worked with this new employer for 5 months till I got my PR card but I failed to inform the pnp office or CIC regarding the job change because this new employer took very long to provide me the necessary documents.
Now fast track few years later while I was filling out my application for citizenship it required me to provide last five year employment which covers the period I switched my jobs so i would like to know what you guys think, will IRCC investigate it, will I run into any problems or this issue will just slide off unnoticed.
Any feedback is much appreciated.

Thankyou

I really doubt if it will make any problems changing jobs after pnp nomination. Anyhow you will have to declare all your employment as it happened because they will check your employment history via the taxes declaration in the past years and any discrepancies will cause problems.

Used to be from 8 months to a year, but now, everything is paused and no way to know how many months now.

It used to be up to a year from application received to decision made. The official DM to oath is 2-3 months but that can be next day or much closer to 3 months depending upon location and luck.

Most people are looking at 10-12 months to DM and 2-3 for oath. So bank on 12-15 months... but with the virus add on 3-6. There’s a huge backlog, remember some locations were doing 1800 oaths a week before it was all shut down.
