We're a 60 year old Australian couple, applied for Canadian citizenship at Sydney, NS. Complete applications were received by them on 11 February 2020. Given that we're exempt from test, when should we expect a first response.

If situations were normal ( with out this COVID Pandemic ) you should have received your AOR ( Application of Receipt ), but due to this unexpected pandemic I think we all need to few more months to become to normal processing times ( I would say 1-2 months for you and 3-5 months for all of us who applied after March 2020 )
Hi fellows, Is there anyone who applied for Canadian citizenship from within Canada around 11 February 2020 and has got AOR?
According to the 2020 tracking sheet, no one from February has received AORs yet. In fact, even some applicants from January have yet to receive AOR. I recommend following the threads for January 2020 and February 2020 applicants to keep up with their progress.
