Hi everybody,

Just wanted to know your experience with regards to the paper-based and online process for the citizenship application. What's best? The online form is easier, but I have been reading that the process is slower.

Which of the two is faster?
Thanks,

If you have an opportunity to apply online, then I think you should take it. It is too soon to tell which one is faster or slower but there are a select few December 2020 applicants who have already taken oath while applicants from 2019 are still waiting for a test invite.

Online Citizenship process is the future IMO. IRCC will be spending resources to make this process more efficient and quick (that's the hope at least).

If I were you, I'd take the online route.

Good luck!
