I have applied for my citizenship application on October 2023. On 22nd of February 2024, I was called for an in person interview. I was asked my job history, residence history. At the end, I was given a Physical Presence Form to fill out, which I did and submitted back to them. After two days, my LPP turned to completed. Since then still now, I am waiting for my Oath Ceremony. So, in June 2024, I applied for my GCMS notes. To my surprise, when I received it, I found out the my application is on Hold but Prohibition, Criminality, Language, Physical Presence, and all the other things are Passed. At the end, it says that it requested ICES. I am just so much stressed and frustrated. No idea how long more do I need to wait? Is there anything I need to do to fasten the process?

Is there anyone who is facing the same experience as I am? Lately, I have seen a lot of people that they are getting their oath within 3 to 5 Months. I am regretting that I applied on 1096 days. Please give me some suggestions what do I need to do? Thank you everyone.

They've requested your travel records to confirm you have the 1095+ days. It's not really surprising this has happened given you applied for 1096 days and this is one of the reasons why all of us here very strongly recommend applying with a buffer. I don't know how much longer you can expect to wait. Maybe others will comments.

Sorry you have to go through this wait. But as long as you pass the bar of 1095 days it shouldn't matter. I hope you kept an account of your travel history. It's a wait game for you. Try reaching out to ircc and see where is it and what's going on with it.

This is the mistake for which I regret now. I have no idea too that how much longer I need to wait. It has been more than 8 months since I am waiting for oath.

On the GCMS notes, it says no concern for physical Presence but still no idea why they are taking for ages. Thank you so much for your comment.

True, wait is the only thing that I can do at this moment. I have never got out of the country since I entered into. I called IRCC a few times but they just say the same thing which is to wait as it is a non-route application. Thank you so much for your suggestion and comment.

I still don't get the reason why people apply a citizenship application on 1095 or 1096 days LOL. IRCC official website clearly mentions that you should apply with a buffer. You think you save time by submitting on 1095, but you messed it up

Big Mistake. I regret now.

No Update yet. I am so frustrated and disappointed. I have no idea what should I do. It has been a long time I am waiting for my oath.

What is your Primary VO, Secondary VO, and Events VO?
(This info should be in your GCMS notes, at least for Primary and Secondary; VO = visa offices where your application is being processed)

Could you please tell what were the questions asked related to the job history?

My wife has never travelled since getting PR and is now at pysical presence 1099 days , should she apply now or wait couple of weeks, also is it better to get e-certifcate or paper copy of citizenship certificate

I followed the advice from @dpenabill and others to have at least one month of buffer. I ended up going with 39 days of buffer just to be on the safe side.

Agree that would at least have a month of buffer time. May save you time in the end
