Hi All,

I got the test invite on Jan 4 and I did the exam today Jan 22. I got 20/20 the officer said Congratulations for the score then the officer said everything seems to be ok, but he will review the application for one more time and if he needed any document he will send me a mail within 2 to 3 weeks and if I didn't receive anything during this period I should assume that my application was accepted and I should wait for the oath invitation. He said the same thing to the person before me.

I am soo scared that they might ask for RQ or PPQ

Congratulations, I hope you don't get any thing other than oath invite. Please keep updating your timeline for other members of the forum.

Btw, can you share how did you receive the test invite? Other than a regular mail, is it eCAS or email, or both? Is the test always in the morning or afternoon, and roughly how many people were taking the test today?

I received the test invite through eCAS and regular mail. The test was at 9:31 am in the morning. I am not sure if there an afternoon test. there was 2 lists. I think each list had 8 to 10 people so the total was between 15 to 20 person. One more thing there was one person did not show for the test.

I submitted my application in early August ( in Vancouver). Took the citizenship exam at the end of November; DM in the following week.
I have received the oath invitation ( email) last week. It will take place in mid-February in downtown Vancouver.

Which one you got first and how many days between them? Thx

Sometimes the ecas is not so accurate. I made my test 2 months ago, and until today the ecas is not updated for the test invite, not even for decision made.

The Decision was made today (Jan 23rd) on eCAS only on the front page "no new line was added :(". waiting for the oath ceremony which will take from 2 to 4 months as the officer said that Kitchener office doesn't have judge and the queue is very long.

Dear Forum Members,

I have a question about the address history. If a person for any reason during his residency period was homeless or living in his trailer for several months and did not have an actual home address at that time then what would he write in his citizenship application's residential addresses history ?

Would really appreciate your answers.

Thanks

Congrats for DM. It is unfortunate that the oath will take that long due to lack of judge, but hopefully it will be no more than 2 months. Please keep updating when you have an update. Thank you.

Morning Folks,

...I made the test this morning in Mississauga office and I passed and got 17/20, my advice to all examiners to study the book/Discover Canada well and you'll see the test will be easy, the interview also was simple questions for my work history in the last 4 years, check my passport and IDs with a small conversations of my daily activities.
The officer told me they will make a quick security check then they'll send me the Oath letter soon.
I wish everyone a good luck in yours coming test and take it easy.

All the best.

Yours,
Salam.

We re' on the same timeline!! We re' gonna complete two months on 28-01-2018 after test and waiting for next step;most probably Oath invitation.
Hopefully, after two months we all will see movement on our files.
