What is actually going on the with Saskatchewan's offices? I got DM over 2-3months ago n no update for oath since then, just wondering?

i have had nothing since i finished the test in feb . and have called and was told well under the time frame for processing , my tracker hasn't moved since April.
its good to see people in sask getting to oath stage , so there is hope for 2021 . i am leaning now towards 2022

Hi, We also completed our test on February. On April We received a request for all passport pages and in May We had an interview. Last update was May 10th. We also have friends here in Regina with a similar timeline than ours. This wait is killing me because I really need my canadian passport to be able to travel to US to visit my parents at the end of this year. Now everything takes more time and I hope We get to do the oath ceremony soon enough that will allow us to get our passaports before december. This sucks. We applied on november 2019.

i was only asked for passport pages in April . and since then nothing . last time the tracker moved was the 23rd April .
my guess is that's when they looked at my passport pages .
its becoming very frustrating . i am starting to wonder if its because , last yr my permanent residence expired, and i applied for another card , which was granted 2 weeks after i applied .
this maybe the reason why my process is taking so long , as i still have another 5yrs left on my pr, i have only been a pr for 15 yrs
the only reason i extended my pr was because . the wait time on citizenship was taking to long .
so i probably fall under the no rush categories .
and thats why when i did call they said , i am well under the time limit !!! and i should know before the end of the yr .or better still 2022

These kind of letters normally have to go to the Minister of Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada. I know in 2018 Canadians and PRs sponsoring their spouses wrote a similar letter. Since then the processing time has improved.

It can be in the form of a petition and need more signatures.

Do not need your advice what to wait for myself.

Previous minister decresed the physical presence time for PRs. He was great minister

What was changed or improved in last 2 years?

The only way immigration will be improved for good or bad is election - it is coming soon
