Hi,

As per the status reflecting in the system, I was sent FP request over email but unfortunately, I haven't got one yet. It's almost 45 days now. I wanted to check, can I get my FP done from RCMP and send it CIC without the letter in hand. Or the letter is required for getting the FP done.

If the content of the letter is generic then I can get the FP done from RCMP and ask them to send it to CIC directly.

Please advise I am based in Vanc.

I received the letter, I think you must have it when u do the FP in addition to your IDs. ALl the best mate

My status shows to give fingerprints, but have not received email or mail for instructions letter how to proceed?
It shows requested on january 10, just checked my status to see if there is an update ?
Wondering how to proceed?

Hi,

I did receive the email after three business days. same happened with other members. Just wait and keep checking the junk folder.
Would give them 3 business days of time and then try contacting them afterwards.

Just send them an email or an online web form query and then failing that just call them....

Hi, I have the same issue. Request of FP says on Jan 10, 2023 on the web portal. but no email/letter for FP received yet. @zaid84, were you able to resolve you situation. If so, how?

Hey everyone, just wanted to update. I was able to call. Had to try like 7 times before i was able to connect. They sent me the letter today via email. Thank you all for your support.
