I am applying for citizenship online. There is a question on the application on if I filed income tax for 2016 and if I am required to file it for 2016.
I arrived to Canada on permanent resident visa in August 2017 and I only filed taxes for 2017 in March 2018. Am I suppose to file income tax for 2016 as well ?
I never entered Canada before August 2017.
Please let me know.
