I have sent my file on 23rd August and file was received on 27th August, I am still waiting for their email for the File number, anyone there who applied at the same time and have received file number or any other information, as my other friends who applied in March got their file number in one month.

Dear All
M back to this great forum after many years ( when i was applying for immigration) back in 2014 !!!

i have one important question...hope i will get reply soon !

I am applying for citizenship , my 2 kids passports are expired .
i have just checked in Minor Citizenship form ..Point No. 9) D
which says that :Are any gaps in time in Validity Period of the Child's passport during the last 5 years ?
if yes , please give the reason ?

NOW PLEASE INFORM MAY I SEND THE APPLICATION AND MAKE PASSPORTS OR WAIT FOR THE PASSPORTS.
My friend told me you can put some reason that " we had no plan to visit to our home country that's why we didn't renew passports. Some one told me they asked for the passports at the time of OATH

I shall be very thankful if seniors of this group may guide me.
