CIS Score 340- Is that fine to apply for Express Entry

Hi All,

My CIS Score is 340. I came to know the least score in lottery was around 430. Its almost that this process starts. I haven't entered into pool yet.
Could you please help us regarding this. Can I apply ? Do I will picked up in Pool atleast after 8 months if I enter into pool in January 2016. or It is better to go for Australia ?

The least score was 450. Your chances arent bright at 340 but youncan still stay in the pool. With the trend right now, no one can predict what the future holds. Youncan simultaneously try for australia.

try reaching CLB 9 level in each parameter of you english.

340 would be very far from a cut off, at least for the next few months. You should explore the other options including Australia (as suggested above) or see if you can fit into any PNP programs or can get a job offer.

You can retake IELTS exam and get maximum marks by scoring 9 CLB+.
I have done it my self and converted my score from 408 to 465.
