CIPS Certification for SINP

How long it took to get the email from them? When did you apply and in which route?
hi ,
can any one confirm me getting this certificate is mandatory though it is been widely said in the Saskatchewan NOC list . on my research work i came to know it is not that mandatory , since many people got Saskatchewan nomination with out certificate . is this only applicable to Saskatchewan or also applicable to other province . i have checked the same with other province as well but as of now i can see Saskatchewan implementing .
Few people got certificate .
Please clarify few points so that it would be helpful .
1 . when you apply for ECA document by document how you can change to course by course , can not see any options there , do we need to send mail to upgrade . or is there any option to get both . Once we get ECA document by document report do we need to ask them to change to course by course and then ask them to send it CIPS . or once we get the report we have to send the report directly . If wes is ok to send the report how much do they charge .
2 . After Code of Ethics exam , what is the next step . i have seen in the website
Applicants with overseas education
Individuals who completed their education at an educational institution outside North America must have their educational transcripts officially translated (if the transcript is in a language other than English or French) and must submit a course-by-course analysis and a statement of equivalency from a recognized Canadian academic credential assessment service.
Foreign applicants looking to use the ITCP designation to aid their entry into Canada should review the information available via the Canadian Information Centre for International Credentials.
[1] The experience has to be recent and attained within the last 36 months preceding this application.
I have applied for ECA document by document , how to change it course by course , sooner or later i am going to get the report . BUT Cips want course by course , do i need to pay again to WES for course by course .
I am going for ITCP Education Plus Experience Route .
Please reply if you have any information .

Thanks. When did you apply? Currently, they are saying processing time is 6months.

My Basic ECA from IQAS was done
and now for CIPS application i have to apply course by course ECA from IQAS and will not send them my documents again just inform them my old file number
so this will take 13 weeks
so first i should ask IQAS once they send the report to CIPS at that time i have to send my application to CIPS or how it work.
and for work reference letter any one have a format and what information CIPS want to see on the reference letter.

Just some notes here:
1. In IQAS, course by course ECA is called Specialized assessment
2. It will take 13 weeks after sending the AOR. They usually take 3-4 weeks to send AOR. So, it could be 16-17 weeks in total. To reduce cost and time, you can fax them using hellofax.com at no cost.
3. Send your documents to CIPS at the middle of ECA processing, so that they can start reviewing. Also mention that, IQAS will send the report within 1-2 months. I am saying because the current processing time of CIPS is ~6 months.
4. Work Reference letter is same as what you would prepare for EE. Just make sure the points of the letter touch most of the required topics (BOK) for CIPS.

where i can find this BOK so that i can check and talk to my HR before they prepare what they normally do.

I guess you are applying for EduPlusExp route, right?
Then download the form and just next to experience table, you will get 9-10 BOK codes
I am in mobile now, so can’t just copy from there, sorry brother!
I guess you people have noticed that we have in application form BOK , what exxactly we need to fill in over there , for example if you are b tech computer science or an mca we do have the following subjects that was mentioned the bok , but coming to work related thing we need to mention what kind of roles and responsibilities . If person working as network administrator he need to included the activities he is carrying out in brief . Hope this can help .

My Noc is 2175 and want to apply for SINP. I know I have to get CIPS Certification, but I want to ask you all, should I go for ISP ? If yes how can I proceed it? I have already done with my WES credentials and they gave me certificate of "4 Years of Bachelor (Double Bachelor)". My CRS is 373 & IELTS 6.5. I have 3+ years of work experience as Web developer and designer. Please shed some light, I will be really appreciated.

does anyone know, whether should we really have the institution to send the official academic transcripts directly to CIPS?
there is such a requirement into the form:
"Please have the institution send an official transcript directly to the Office of the Registrar (see front page of application).
The Certification Council does not review program transcripts from private educational institutions unless the program is accredited by CIPS."

If you have course by course ECA report, then you don't need to send transcripts, rather ask the ECA authority to send the report to CIPS.
