CIC updates October 10 2017

Dear all,
I was applied through online CIC in 12/09/2017.
Next day i got my UCI & Application number.
My application Update two times and i received mail. " Your Application has been updated". on 13/09/2017 and also 15/09/2017.
After one month i got another mail. " Thank you for being patient ".
My current status is
Application status: We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.
Review of eligibility : We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results :You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes.
Review of additional documents: The additional documents you provided are being reviewed.
Interview: You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics : We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check:Not applicable.
Final decision : Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

I want to know, How much time taken for final decision. its already 34 days passed.
Any suggestion.

Hello..from which country you are applying? I also applied last Sep27, 2017 (19days already) still no update too..by the way my location now is in Jeddah KSA/

This is my second time to apply thru online. I applied on paper last two years ago it was denied but it only takes 5days to know the result. I think paper application is faster to compare online. anyway, lets have faith that we gonna received reply from CIC... I am still hoping too. I didnt expect it will take this much longer and your's even takes too long..

Still I am between IP1 and IP2 , waiting for IP2 to happen and passport request.

Ontario PNP -
ITA -August 23rd
Medical exam passed and background status: NA

Any idea when I would get an update on PPR ?? The process could be slow due to Christmas

I have applied online application for visitor visa on 14 November. I did not get any update still. Eagerly waiting, its been more than a month normal processing time is 25 days but my application is already in queue from long. Any one has any opinion or something similar like my. Case.

Well, First of all link your application to GC account if applied paper based and you can track your application status. They are facing the stiff backlog which cause lots of delays in processing. They are also making sure that the visitors must be genuine so background checks are applied on most of the visiting applicants.

I applied online. Our representative have all the details. He had no updates about my application yet.

Your representative can send a Case Specific Enquiry/IRCC web form + an email to request for an expedited decision

Finally we will be expecting passport back on day 21 India time.
We applied Oct 27th 2017, paper based.
One applicant was former military, so I'm guessing that why processing was so long.
Now to wait for results!
