CIC sent paperwrk to wrong address - 6 month delay.

Hi all ---- just passing on some info.

although we've finally received confirmation to send $$ for the PR visa two days ago (joy) we have received another letter from Paris asking for new medical because the first one has now expired.

it has expired after CIC sent an info request letter to the wrong address in March - which took six months for them to figure out and then email us.

so this may cost us a new medical in addition to the visitors-visa extension we've obtained --- all due to their mishandling.

fuming.

official letter of complaint being sent to head of department.

any pointers for letters of complaint?

was it Mississauga that sent your file to a wrong adress,or the visa office?

I should clarify - it was Cdn Immigration Paris that sent the info request to an address that does not exsist. not much that can repair a six-month delay, really.

we send a professional letter stating that the medical forms are no longer valid due to the delay caused by Cdn Immig. inverting the house numbers....
