Asslamu alaykum Forum Family,

Anyone in the toronto, ontario area know of a lawyer or immigration consultant that is muslim.

Background husband was declined last month on the basis that our wedding is not genuine. I went to a couple of immigration consultants and their telling me I have to get re married. Appeal is out of the question because I have to get remarried so the appeal will be a waste of time.

I explained to them in Islam you cannot have 2 nikkas to the same spouse. My dad said to go to an Imam to get a letter stating this then go to an MP.

Any advice please.

I don't know what to do and how to get my husband to Canada our 35 month old daughter is suffering from the separation.

ASyed :(

Can you tell us more about your wedding from start to finish? Did you follow the wedding as per your country's traditions? Or did you do something completely out of the ordinary?

Sorry to hear that, anyways.. tell us more about you wedding? wedding circumstances.. who proposed..or is it a love marriage.. blah blah.. there are tons of questions and proves.. any wedding photos.. Birth Certificat, Marriage Certificate Family Registration Certificate, B-Form.. and other documents from the government.. r u gus relatives?

In Pakistan there are different norms of marriage.. but one thing is common, its Nikah. but again Its not necessary a bride be sitting next to the religious clerk, like in our marriage. In the cities normally a girl in most cases sits around a family members for nikah but in the village side girl sits in their house and 2 witness comes her to ask for her willingness for marriage..

so there is a lot to prove..

photos, chat, email, phone contacts.. gifts. bank statements, child birth information,(where did child got brith? was husband with you at the time of a child's birth, and was his name used during the process...) see there could be so many angles of documents to prove..

did he visit you or did you had any visits? did you child have photos with both parents..

My child can't live without me, so I have to live with him, am applying outside Canada. I have no other choice.

how many visits did u have in that process? did u live with you husband.. see there could be many questions ...

you have to write a detail information about your marriage/relationship..

I feel really sorry for you.
