CIC saying they couldn't find the application I sent! What should I do now?

I am March 7, 2017 applicant and have called CIC almost daily post March 28, 2017 asking an update on my application. Just got one reply every time that they couldn't find my application. The agents communicated with CPC through notes and they too confirmed that they couldn't find application using my and the sponsor's details. I sent it through FedEx.

What should I do now?

Nothing. Submit a new app instead of waiting and checking with them. Chances are, they might have lost it. I used Canada Post with signature.

With FedEx, it should be signed for on arrival, right? Did FedEx register it as being delivered and signed for?

Did it arrive there? You should have a receipt to track your package.

The package could be on a desk with 30 other applications. Either keep phoning or submit again.

No other options are available unless it was received by immigration then you could phone your sponsors MP but that likely won't pan out.

Track the package with FedEx, and call CIC with your FedEx tracking information.

did u send ur package direct from India to Canada by FedEx or your sponsor forward it to CIC as per instructions says.

Are you certain they have even opened it yet? You're talking only about a month. Last year this time, CPC-M wouldn't even open a package for at least a month. In our case, we finally got an AOR after 8 weeks...

I am not discounting the fact that it may have mysteriously vanished, but it could still be unchecked (or enroute to New Delhi, if your avatar is correct, and you applied outland).

2-3 agents admitted that CIC has picked up March 15 files as well but not sure why March 7, 2017 file was not picked up. According to CIc agents, CPC has confirmed that they don't have any application with them with our details.
2 agents suggested to resend application with a letter explaining this situation.

I think you should submit everything again, that is the reality, nothing really you can do with that. If you have tons of time to wait, probably they can figure that out sometime. I applied in-Canada class, so I used Canada Post to submit my application. And, I bought the most expensive shipping service, like 1 day arrive, signature, tracking number, etc.

you should call again and ask if your package is being returned... they are open today

Actually, on last friday I did ask them if my package was returned but they were like they couldn't find my package.

This happened to someone else recently on the following thread;

However, after waiting a little while longer, it seems that their application turned up after all. It may be a similar case with yours. I'd say that is even more likely if you received a delivery receipt from FedEx. Good luck.
