CIC requesting for information already provided

Today there was a request for a police clearance certificate. The strange thing is, I've already included the exact police clearance certificate along with the application and they are still requesting for it.
The letter does not say what is wrong with the one i attached.

Do I provide the same certificate again?
Is it common for CIC to ask for information that is already provided?

note - the certificate is was issued on 21st Nov.

It happens. I provided the same explanation letter three times before the officer even read it (i found out through GCMS)
I would suggest go ahead and give cic what they asked for, especially when you already have the pcc handy.

If everything is correct, then you just need to send it again for them.

oh come on! i've been reading the weirdest stories that people discovered through gcms. this is crazy!
