CIC requested documents for work permit restoration

Hello,

My initial work permit expired on April 7th, and I received PNP certificate on April 13th, 2015.

My work permit extension application was refused on July 16th. The reason is I didn’t provide a copy of a valid PNP certificate.

I applied wp restoration on Augst 11.

CIC requested the following documents from me today:

• Provincial Letter of Support: Please submit a copy of the letter of support provided by your province/territory of nomination. This letter must state all factors required for the issuance of a work permit under paragraph R204(c) as per its agreement with Canada have been met. It must also identify your occupation and employer information.

• PNC: Provincial Nominee Certificate from Province of Destination

Does that mean my 'work permit support letter' and 'PNP Letter of Approval' ?

Besides, I don't know if the PNP certificate expired will affect my work permit application or not?

Hi,

Same situation here. AINP nomination received on April 18th 2015. Applied for open work permit and got rejected. Applied for closed work permit with restoration on Aug 20th. AOR received for PR under PNP. Now CIC wants Letter of support. AINP is already expired. The deadline to submit the requested document is Jan 4th 2016 and AINP office reopens on the 4th after holidays. Is it difficult to get the letter of Support ?

just send an email to AINP agent that issued your certificate and attached the letter of request from cic.

Is the AiNP didnt request any additional docs from you before they issued your nomination cert? Bcoz if yes they were contact your through email right.

that is the fastest way once you send an email about the request for letter of support they will give you right away to your email

I just received a call from AINP officer and she sent me the nomination in the mail, there were no email contacts. And the AINP office is closed till 3rd Jan. Should I get an extension from CIC , the deadline they gave me to submitt the letter of support is 4 th Jan.

I have not been working since the time I'm in Restoration but I still have the same job offer. Is this going to affect the letter of support ?

I applied for restoration of my status on Aug 28th, 2005 with MPNP support letter. I got the same request from CiC for uploading the letter again. I went to MPNP office today and they issued me a new work permit support letter. I was jus because our letters were outdated or something( as per MPNP officer who issued me new one).

So i hope this will be it. They issued me with the updated date of 29th dec 2015 and rest stays the same.

I took my old work permit support letter and the print out of the paper from the CIC website asking for the support letter.

I did same thing today.
Went to MPNP office and ask the lady at the counter, but she said that my document is good.
So I didn't get any update document.
And I sent an e-mail to MPNP as well, no reply yet.

Did you guys applied online?
When I log in to MyCIC account and check the application, it shows "Required By 19 January 2016,"
Does that mean deadline is Jan 19?
But I got the request letter on Dec 28, it said that "All documents must be received within 7 days of receipt of this request."

Yes , I applied online as well . MyCIC shows 18th Jan , the date till I can upload the requested document. But the message from CIC says Jan 4th. So I assume we should go by the date on the letter we received.
Did you show that lady the letter that you received from CIC requesting the letter of support ?

Yes, I print out CIC request letter and showed the lady.
She said submit the document which I have is good, if CIC need any update then go back.....
Maybe she just don't know how or lazy???

I didn't find any date on the letter, but I think I will send the document by Jan 4.
