CIC profile cancelled and replaced with a new profile

Hello Guys ,

I am a SINP PNP outland candidate. My time lines as as below :
Category PNP- Outland
AOR Jan 11 2017
Medical Passed - 24 Jan 2017
BG NN to NS - 24 Jan 2017
BG NS to NN - 27 JAN 2017
BG NN to IP -17 APR 2017

Till 20th morning everything was fine, in the evening I decided to log in as I was expecting to get a PPR email. I saw that My application status was changed to "CANCELLED" without any email/notification. I literally panicked at that moment and called up CIC, the agent told me that he cannot provide me with any details as my file is in India. So I decided to raise CSE with IRCC in the evening itself and even emailed to NDVO and CIC again.

The next morning I got an email notification that my profile has been updated. When I logged in the status was same as Cancelled. Yesterday evening I received an email from IRCC stating that :

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
We verified the information you provided and can confirm that the application number E00****** was cancelled and replaced by application number EP00******.
We apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused.
We hope the information provided is helpful in assisting you with your enquiry.


Now when i log into MYCIC I still see only my old profile not the new one, again I have raised a CSE for this case. I called up CIC yesterday as well and they refused to tell the status of my new profile.

I request the experts to please help me in this scenario. I have the following queries :

1. Why was my application number changed without intimating me, do I face any chances of rejection or is there any issue with my profile?

2. How can I see my new application number linked to my profile. I have no idea of my status at this moment and don't know if I have got any email for PPR?

Also adding to this, whenever I tried calling CIC, there is not much information that I could get from them.

All your help will be greatly appreciated.

What is your profile expiry date? I don't think it will be a cause. I'm just thinking, it might be system glitch (Not 100% sure though).

Have you seen any record with EP0xxx in your profile? It is really one of the strange case that I ever read in this forum. Don't worry and I strongly believe other experts will definitely guide you in the right path.

Thanks for your reply. My file's expiry date is in July. There is no record of EP00***** in my profile.
