Yep, I'm OINP, and April 2017 AOR, no MR yet.

Hi All. Has anybody changed their employer after receiving nomination? I received nomination from BC PNP in March 2017 and have applied to CIC under the paper based stream and have been waiting 5 months. My 2 year work visa is locked to my role and my employer, but just wondered if anyone had managed to go through the process (if there is such a thing) of changing to another company. I want to continue my current job title but am growing unhappy with my current employer.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Ryder,
I'm in the same position, I have the closed work permit with my current employer who sponsored me to get the OINP.
I've been searching the same question, but it looks like better not to change the employer during the whole process
If you must change the employer, you have to contact the BC PNP and go through the PNP process all over again.
However it is totally up to the each provinces.

hi guys,

Got a question. Received an email notification from cic today 27th, I had message in my online account. They asked me to review my addresses because according to them, there seems is an overlap. The main body of the letter is this https://s14.postimg.org/ucy9zik0h/regex.png . Here are my addresses https://s14.postimg.org/jq4gu345d/regex1.png. Other than the dates in rows 5 and 6 (counting from the top, which I just realized :() been swapped, where is their an overlap. I can't see it. Thanks guys.

1. I think you should arrange the address in order.
2. the current address end date shiuld not be future date.Rather write TODAY in the box

your addresses are not in a proper order(e.g. 3line from bottom is not correct and so on) do arrange them accordingly with relevant details.

Good Luck!

You have to send a NEW form with corrections. Two lines are swapped, they must be perfectly in an order, and you have 2 dates starting at 2011-07. You got the officer confused.

Yet, write TODAY, CURRENT, PRESENT, not an end date, to your current address.

Are you in Canada? What was your nomination stream + province, and the country that issued your passport?

Asking to estimate how long it is taking.
