CIC past application checks

Hi,

Does anyone know if CIC check past visa applications? For instance we applied for 2 IEC visas. The second one we applied for in Canada but as we had only been there a couple of months (and had no idea how long we would be there) I put my country of residence as UK NOT Canada.

Now I am worried this will cause an issue on background checks.

Any advice?

Are you using the same UCI? Ild imagine it will be on your record if UCI is the same as that application, left to the discretion of the officer to check past immigration history. Also if the application was online, they might have easy access.
