Yeppy :)

Brilliant! Thanks for sharing..

this is the good part

"You must have at least 12 months of full-time, or an equal amount in part-time, skilled work experience. Full-time work means at least 30 hours of paid work per week"

What would be the case if I complete my 30 hours of work in less than 12 months? Am I still eligible to apply?

In that case, you will still have to wait for 12 months completion to file the application.

LOL, it's not a matter of "waiting to apply" for 12 months, you must WORK for at least 12 months full time (or the LONGER equivalent in parttime work) :)

What CiC says is "Full-time work means at least 30 hours of paid work per week". So this means that we have to work for at least 1560 hours in 12 months.

So does it mean that a part time employee can achieve this Canadian experience of 1560 hours in more than 12 months as well?

"have at least 12 months of full-time (or an equal amount in part-time) skilled work experience in Canada in the three years before you apply"

Can anyone help clarify - does the above line mean you need to have 12 months in total in past 3 years ? So in case a person has 4 months (then a break of 3 months)+ 7 months (then a break of 2 months) + 3 months = 14 months > 12 months in last 2 years in skilled worker category is he/she still eligible ? Break means the person was out of Canada.

I would say Yes, thoughts ?

Your calculation is correct but the catch is you have to apply for PR within one year of leaving your job in Canada.

Yours, as indicated.

Sorry, I missed the quote!!!

I have worked in canada for following duration.

July 2010 - DEC 2010 ( 6 months)
JUne 2012 - DEC 2012 ( 7 months) and currently working in canada

I have accumulated 13 months of exp in last 30 months( within 3 years) ,but I was working in another country for 17 months inbetween my work exp in canada. Will I be eligible to apply under CEC? I am confused with following line.

•apply while working in Canada or within one year of leaving your job in Canada
