Friends any idea when CIC officers go on holidays.Is it dec 15 till jan 6 what about people who yet to receive medicals and PPR.Anybody exact timelines when CIC officers goes on holidays
 
What about CIO Sydney? Dont they accept any applications during holidays?
Where can I check the holiday calender for CIO Sydney.

Same as the rest of Canada,. December 25th, 26th and January 1st, Mind you won't be much work done during Xmas week as a lot of staff will take the other 3 days off as vacation time.
 
PMM is right! If the feds are anything like my workplace - municipal gov - from the 24th to the 2nd. Our stats are 25, 26 and 1, but most people take time off in between. So around 1 week during the holidays...

does the same thing apply for the people at the US border?
 
From the 6 years I spent in the States, don't remember a time when the border was closed - unless there are extenuating circumstances. Quite to the contrary, I would think that CBSA and DHS would post more officers due to increased traffice over the holidays. Just my logic!
