CIC not yet paid back money for cancelled application

Our Permanent resident application was cancelled a few weeks back as a result of missing medical certificates. On the letter they mention that the money paid for the application will be given back. To date we have not yet received the money back. Does anyone have a similar situation? How long did you have to wait for the money to be paid back?

It can take up to 2 months.

Wow! Two months! By then I would have my new EE profile and ready to submit again. That is amazing how they can cancel my application within 2 days without really looking at it and then in the same time it takes them 2 months to pay back the money (of which they are currently receiving interest). Nice!

It can, not saying it will. Hopefully you get it soon.

As far as I know it will take 2 weeks for you to get the money.

Ive been waiting since the third of October for my refund.
