@Harvijay , quick question mate. As a proof of funds I am assuming that you must have opened the $10K GIC account. I did it too. However did you also pay the first year's tuition fees, I think its a "preferred method" of CIC for proof of funds. I havent paid the tuition fees upfront, but have shown them the acceptance of Loan as well as other sufficient funds. I just wanted to know what approach you took. By the way nice acad profile !!

Thanks!

Nah I didn't pay no fee beforehand.

20L loan & GIC. That's my funding documents

For me...14.4 lakh FD and University Scholarship of 17,500 CAD... I showed only my parents pay slip for 1 month...so not sure if they would take that into consideration

Sounds good all the best ! I applied through the VFS Delhi and gave the medical upfront, hopefully I wont have to do it again. I was checking some other posts and its funny some guys were asked to resubmit the medical even they did upfront. How about you?

I did upfront...and has submitted along with application...no updates on my application yet

Nope. No such issues. They must not have left much gap between the medical exam day and day of submitting visa application.

I highly doubt that the eMedical system is better than the CIC website :P

Anyway, I passed my medicals, what feels like a century ago.

My sister is in process of getting admission for Sep 2017 term..

When do you suggest she should apply for visa?

I think three months before should be sufficient. You do that before and CIC might object on the purpose of early application.
I have applied in last week Oct for my Mid Jan intake.

Hey,

Any updates today who applied their applications on 27th october ( general ) ?

E-mail saying your application has been updated. Logged in to the portal but nothing was.
