Unfortunately there was a document missing from my file, so the interview didn't last too long. I also got 20/20! She said I have to wait for another letter that will come to request the missing document. <insert swear word>

Could you share with us witch document if it is not privacy issue for you so we can avoid such as issue for us in the future , we will appreciate your experience

Hi guys, I had my exam yesterday. 19/20 (it was easier than I thought, though one or two questions were quite specific) and they told me the oath invite will come in 2-3 months, but of course I'm hoping it'll be sooner! Good luck to all.

What is the present timeline for Montreal office for English application? If you can share it that will be appreciated. I like to know usual time required from AOR to test date to decision made to oath ceremony.

i would say it's one of the slowest office right now , i applied back in july and still no updates about the test . You can check my timeline in the spreadsheet.

well believe me my friend ,, last time when I called them , it was not pleasant call ,, tried to understand if my file is already approved and I am just waiting the oath ,, due to the fact the I am DM , even such confirmation the agent refused to give ,, and all what she confirmed was I am waiting the following step ,, and the very classic one ,, my favorite ur file within the normal processing time ,, depressing

The test is fairly easy. If you read the book and took the online quizzes, you'll be all right. On my test there were zero questions about Quebec. That's why I recommend the official quiz: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/games/how/. The question on the actual test are very similar to the one on this quiz.



No. You don't even see what kind of request they sent. After you completed what they ask and they processed it, you'll see the next step - either another document request or test invite.

Did you check your ECAS on the cic website? Still no DM yet ?
You should call or write to CIC inquiring about it since it’s been well more than 12 months since you’ve turned your application in.
