Just to give everyone an idea, we submitted my wife's passport last June 2009 and she received her passport back with Visa October 2009.

hi guys.. m new here.. m also sad about the processing times in cic-manila.. until now i havent received my passport request. its been two months already.. dey started processing our application last oct. 26. what happened man oi? iv been stressing over this during the holidays... any updates about these might help me lift my spirits... thanks a bunch...

We have same problem here. I think it's normal in Visa Office- Manila for being slow. Anyway, just keep waiting until it's 6 months period for you to follow-up. I hope that you can you have ur visa soon.
