If you are requesting GCMS notes, because you have status in Canada (a work/study permit) you can request GCMS notes for both Sponsor and PR applications, as well as medical notes by passing a Privacy Act request. See: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/requests-personal.asp . It'll save the $5 per request. Your sponsor will have to make the request, so fill in the consent form (you fill in section A as the PA and sign; your spouse section C as the 'representative').Omegabyte said:GCMS stands for Global Case Management System. It's the system CIC uses to manage applications. You can order a copy of your GCMS "notes" through a CIC program called ATIP. Just google "GCMS ATIP". They usually send out a copy of all the notes on your file within 30 days.
Also, what has been said about procedure is correct. There is no appeal in this case. I suspect that, even through the MP, the CIC will refuse to reconsider because as previously noted, you have not been able to satisfy them that you did in fact deliver the materials they requested. That's why we deliver everything via either courier and/or Case Specific Enquiry. I don't care that the courier might cose $30 to deliver something, as I will have proof that someone there signed for it.
Best of luck.
