cic has stopped receiving applications?

Hello,

I have applied 0n 12th jan 2012 and cic received it on 18th jan......m really dishearten after knowing the news on website that cic will not accept any applications now....

Any one knows that what can be the status of my file if they have received it on 18th jan?will they process it in this quota or next one?

yr comments will be really helpful.

CIC has not stopped accepting applications. The OP applied as an RN and this noc has reached its cap.

CIC will not stop accepting application whether if your NOC under which you are applying must be CAP reached, just confirm it.

Relax friend. Give little more time. Don't believe such false rumors on any website. Rely on to the CIC website where they will publish important news, if any.

but only thing is that CIC has stopped showing total no of applications count on their site.that bothers me a lot..

i am sorry to all of you...

they don't update this info everyday. they say they update it once a week (usually on Tuesdays).
relax my friend.
they will only stop once the 10000 cap has been reached.
