Hi Everyone,

Through this forum, I would like to report an immigration fraud here by a regulated canadian immigration consultant Mr. Rajeev Rampal from Blue Ocean Immigration Inc. with ICCRC license R506938.

You should officially report the fraud by following the instructions here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/representative/complaints.asp

For future reference, if anyone asks you for money in exchange for a job - it's a scam.

Please do report this immigration consultant. People like this need to be stopped.

Dear Scylla,

Thank you so Much for your suggestion. I did lodge a complaint in ICCRC however they said...they donot have the authority to direct the member for a refund. The case was transferred to their disciplinary committee as well...however despite of acknowledging the discrepancy...they only directed the member to a Voluntary Resolution Program which include continuing education, mentoring or monitoring. For the refund they have asked me to go to small claim courts.

Ridiculous that there is essemtially no penalty for essentially attempting to sell a job in Canada. Whether it is doctors or immigration consultants self regulation leads to lax penalties.

That caller ID display can be faked so easily with an app.

How they got your phone number and connection with CIC could really be anywhere. Its like those scam calls pretending CRA asking for money.

The right move is to contact CIC and perhaps RCMP.

Btw, If they threaten you that RCMP are on their way, I'd tell them I've contacted RCMP too and are tracing this call and definitely are on their way. :p

It can be inside job or hacking

I guess you have your answer.

If you want the funds returned, you'll need to pursue this through the court system.

Good luck.
