Ok guys, so i got through the post today a final reminder with regards to sending them the form IMM5409. I must have forgot to sign that form. Anyway they said they sent a letter (which i didn't receive on 23/10) And the new letter says i have 7 days to respond to this letter from the date of the later (it came today, the date is 3rd december on it) Does anybody have an email address i can contact? or a number??

IMM5409 is the statutory declaration of common law, and you said you are applying as common-law couple so seems like the request makes sense. We got an 'ultimatum' email as well from them, it requested more proof of relationship (we are common law), and not a specific form. It also gave us 7 days, stating they sent us a letter 45 days prior, which they did not. We had to scramble to get this together and send it to them within the 7 days stated. The call center was of no help in figuring out why we never received the stated letter 45 days prior.
I think someone in CIC is putting wrong dates and timelines on letters and causing this panic.

Common Law Declarations need to be ORIGINALS in most cases (not emailed/copies/scanned), as it requires notarization.sashali78 said:
