Hi Guys,

I am a CEC candidate who started working on July 7th,2014 to June 10th,2016 (1 year 11 months and 3 days experience). I have been awarded points for 2 years experience when technically I'm short of 27days, as CIC just calculates the months and not the days. My PGWP expired on June 10th, hence I had to stop working.

I have received an ITA on Jan 11th, 2017 for the points awarded. Please suggest what I should do. Anybody in a similar situation who applied and got approved?

They will calculate only one year only and recalculate your CRS, if it's still beyond the cutoff for 11th Jan'17 draw then you should be fine else, you need to decline the ITA.

I got my PPR day before yesterday. Was in the same situation. Didn't decline ITA but submitted application after completion of 2nd year.

Thanks

Has anyone else received there PPR who was in this situation. Hello

We are a family of 5. We have 435 points. I received the ITA August 23. I wasn't expecting it since I was waiting for September 26 to apply under CEC. I was extremely surprised to get it.

I was just about to hit submit when I decided to do some further research.

Have you heard of cases where people were penalized for this, even if the fault is with CIC?

I'm scared to decline. The score has been hovering over 433, 434. I don't want to decline and then we don't get it.

How did you get your PR? Just out of curiosity
Thanks again.
