cic call for landing interview

I got a call for landing appointment? Anybody the same as my situatio... I got my passport back yesterday.

I think they just changed the process...and now instead of going to the border...you will have to do your landing at CIC office on the scheduled date...

This is nothing new, this process has been in place for a long time. You can either goto the border and flagpole or land in a local CIC office. The only downside of landing locally is you might need an appointment which could take a while.

Actually. I don't ask for appointment.. they scheduled me an appointment.. I'm planning to do landing at the border

Whoever got passports back in last couple of days, they got an appointment scheduled for them
don't know if we can still land on border or its the only way to do it now..

It would be great Johnkae...if you can call them and ask about the same before heading to the border.

I'm trying to call cic awhile ago but they can't get me through. The line is pretty busy. I'll try to drop by at cic office If I got a chance

really?! thats great news! it means i dont need to travel 4 hours to go to the border
