See title, correct me if I am wrong, call CIC agents couple of times regarding my PR application about criminality, eligibility and security.

The agent just repeat what it shows on the website. Looks like waste of time to call them to inquiry regarding that.

Yes, because this is all that CIC call centre agents are trained on - information that is on the website. They can't give you specific advice or information about your application because they are not the visa officers reviewing your file.

That’s is exactly what they do. You will have better luck ordering GCMS notes if you want further details.

Agent can provide you Eligibility, Criminality and Security status, Visa office, any ADR received/requested, sent a note to officer after 6 months and check if there is RR or SS

but it depends on each agent, some is nicer or some is rude. For me, men is usually friendlier
