CIC asking for a copy of my wife passport

CPC- Ottawa is asking for a copy of my wife passport. does that mean the end is coming ? just asking. she is from a visa visa exempt country.

Hi Sorry is should have been clear... yes it is an spousal sponsorship. i am the sponsor. i have already summited mine at the start of the application.

Hi Yes, i was unable to send the copy of her passport at the beginning of the process.. so i am assuming they are asking for a copy just for the reference or Is the process coming to an end ?

No one can tell you. Given that she is american, it is possible that it may be nearing the end...

One More question to you guys...can she email the copy of her passport or does she have to mail them ? your answer is very helpful

If it's just a photocopy, scan into a PDF and upload through myCIC or through Case Specific Enquiry...

What does the email say requesting it? That's the directions she should follow. If there is none, one of:

Case Specific Enquiry: https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx .

myCIC will allow you to upload files to CIC as well.

Courier (you'll have a proof that it was delivered).
