CIC Application says Updated

Hi,
My application on CIC yesterday said, "Submitted - Messages Read."
Today it says "Updated - Messages Read".
Does this mean someone opened my application? Got no emails is what confuses me.
Pretty stupid question but its been long since I have applied and awaiting a reply from CIC for long.........Just curious.

As I have to travel from abha..... So worried,,,,just need to confirm if they got my passport back from Riyadh so can reapply again....

Passport still in Riyadh in embassy...

My friend got his passport from Riyadh as he applied from here. Maybe thats why he received it in 1 day.
