CIC Application over a year

Hi everyone...

I got my ITA in Aug'18, submitted all documents Sep'18
Past over a year waiting for necessary updates.
A month back got the updates stating application will be given to IRCC officer for viewing
Afterwhich 3 weeks before got the msg asking for Schedule A.
Awaiting further updates from them......

Pls guide how come it's over a year my application is still not processed and if anyone can guide how long it will take more.... Await updates and guidance.
