No and the wait is killing me .... 42 days and counting... :(( I know that other applicants sent their forms before so I guess I won't hear from there for some time... maybe until the middle/end of March...

Hey guys I receive a letter from CIC and they said that they receive my AINP nomination and if I don't want to paid the processing fees again, (I summit my FSW on June 2008 with fees and got a provisional AOR on December 2008) I need to send a letter that said why I want to move to Alberta, update forms IMM008, and withdraw the FSW, also I have 60 days to do so, so looks that I have already AOR :-D

Cchabert,
Congrats. You hear some update from them. We can breath now and hope we all hear good news very soon.
Didn't you send your processing fee with your AINP-CIC application? Are they assigning your FSW-AOR# to your AINP-CIC application?
Thanks

"....I Have received my AOR from CIC Buffalo...My application was sent in 2nd week of December 2008 and AOR is 2nd week of FEB 2009. So it is taking 2 months for AOR...thought of sharing...in case any one waiting for AOR...Also received medical forms..planning to do the medical with 1-2 weeks..."

Congratulations cchabert. At least CIC seems to give good news more frequently than USCIS. Did you get request for medicals as well?

I'm in the process of complete my application to CIC, just waiting for the FBI statement in the mail, when this letter arrives so I'm assuming they will assign my FSW-AOR# to my AINP-CIC application, but I let you guys know as soon I have more info.

That's true Taps, CIC didn't request medicals at this point, I think this will be my process:

1.- Answer the letter and tell them to cancel the FSW and continue to AINP

2.- Send my application as AINP indicates with all the documents to CIC ASAP!

3.- Hope because I already have a AOR they just ask me for medicals before the 12 weeks AINP suggest in their letter.

4.- Hope and more hope

5.- Pray and more pray

:)

Some people got the docs returned, but that was super quick for them...some guy applied Jan 22, and got it returned in the beginning of Feb, he even also sent it back....maybe for Ainp it is faster then your case...

This a short from the letter:

In order to allow your application to be processed under AINP we need:

1.- A written indication whether you want to be considered under PNP

2.- Updated forms: Genereric IMM008, Schedule 1 & 4

3.- A written why you want to continue with your application in the FSW
(if you wish to continue in both categories your files will be processed concurrenly. Note new processing fees will be required in order to continue with your AINP.

You have 60 days to respond if not we will contine with FSW.

Of course I'll cancel the FSW, why? well..No IELTS, and no Interview. :-D

Peace!
