You can open a bank account on your name and make transfer from there. It doesn't take more than 2-3 days for the whole process. Try Axis or ICICI, if that's convenient. Almost all banks allow to open an individual bank accounts for minor. For eg: Pehli Udaan bank account is offered by SBI for the children of age between 10 and 18.As I am a minor with 17 years so they start an account which is joint

Can someone please help me in this. I made payment to Standard Chartered Bank Mumbai as per payment instructions on 13.08.2019 and also sent the A2 form with RTGS ref no., PAN No., Account no. and Signature. However, I haven't got any confirmation for receipt of payment. The status on the ISBO portal still shows "INITIATED".

I think you should get something in 1-2 days. If you are worried then you may check with your local bank. If everything good at your local bank then try to reach out to the intermediate bank (I guess it is Standard Chartered Bank). After 5-6 working days, you can again email ISBO.No, I dropped them email to confirm. They replied that your payment is still likely on its way. It takes 2-5 business days to process the payment.
After this email, status on the login portal changed from INITIATED to IN PROGRESS.
I called CIBC helpline today and they informed that my funds have already been received but have been deposited into the Chequing account. They told me to drop email with request to transfer funds from chequing account to GIC and issue GIC letter. I have dropped email and waiting for the response. Let's see what they do. I was worried about my funds but confirmed that my funds are with them. I just need to communicate with them to transfer funds. I am not aware of anything like this... but it could be possible that while filling out the online form, you selected other options other than the GIC. However, as CIBC confirmed that they will transfer fund to GIC, then you should be good. Only concern is that you have to wait for some time to get the letter.I called CIBC helpline today and they informed that my funds have already been received but have been deposited into the Chequing account. Even I don’t know the reason behind this. But I am sure that I opted for Student GIC program for which i got the confirmation also stating that -I am not aware of anything like this... but it could be possible that while filling out the online form, you selected other options other than the GIC.
