Chosing between Provincial Nominee Program and Canadian Experience Program

It appears as if I qualify for both the Provincial Nominee Program and the Canadian Experience Program, however I am not clear which is the best route to take. Any advice?

If you qualify for both of them right now, you should take CEC because it is faster because you skip the extra stage of PNP nomination. If you can apply through PNP now but must wait before you qualify for CEC, then it is a question. You can contact your PNP to see how long they take to nominate and you can check trackitt.com for other peoples timelines to see which is faster.

One downside with PNP employer stream is that if you lose the job, you may lose your application.

The OP could do both. The upside of the PNP application is that if approved, the OP can extend their WP without an LMO. Some PNP programs are not employer dependent. It depends on the province and how they are eligible.

Sometimes these things can be a matter of strategy.
