Hi all,
So, I've pretty much finished everything, but now I've come to the China Region Guide and the Document Checklist. There are a few things I am not sure about. Background of my case: sponsoring my Chinese wife (we have a 4 month old baby who is Canadian). I was born and raised in Canada. I have never had problems with immigration or anything else that would be a potential problem. So, here are my questions in regards to the China Region Guide - Document Checklist:
1. Number 11 - Non-Accompanying Family Members Declaration - does my wife have to get a notarized statutory declaration for her mom, dad, and sister? Does her mom, dad, and sister need to do the medical and police checks?
2. Number 16 - Address in Chinese - what does it mean by 'address labels'? Actual sticky type labels or just copy the address in Chinese 8 times?
3. Supplement to Schedule 1 - Background / Declaration - what do we need to do with this form? Who needs to fill it out? Is this applicable for our case?
4. IMM5604 - Do we need to fill this form? We only have one child and he is Canadian. We have both never been married before and we both do not have other children. Skip it?
Any form that does not apply to us, do we still include it and write 'Not Applicable', or is it okay not to include it?
This is taking WAY longer than I originally anticipated. I guess the reason for this is that I don't want to make some stupid mistake which will cause a long delay or even refusal.
Thanks for any and all help with answering the above 4 questions!
Cheers,
FS
