I know ABC was well ahead of us all but he went on vacation to China but seems to have stopped posting. I hope things are going well for him
Hey, congratulations!Kysorb said:PPR today and they also asked for the birth certificate.
I will be hand mailing it to the Embassy mail window myself this afternoon.

We ended up sending the missing doc and passport on the 12th and the Embassy signed the package on the 15th.Kysorb said:Reading from the past it seemed like 20-30 days but i think right now we are all guinea pigs in the system that was paused for a couple months..

I'm still waiting for the PPR although it went "in process" on Sept 10th. really hoping for before national holiday... When was your your package received at the Embassy? I remember you had to do some running around for that extra document.
No, don't panic.Degi said:@ Kysorb
I have looked at your timeline and it says officialy transferred to Beijing office just few days after AOR1, so that means you received a letter AOR2 from BEIJING office or is there any other way of knowing it?
I'm an June Outland Applicant and after SA I got nothing to this day, should be expecting AOR2 or starting to get panicked?!
Any helpful answer would be appreciated. Thanks
Wow - Your actual landing/meeting with the immigration officer was in Pearson? Not at Canadian Customs in a larger international airport?KTCYYZ said:Hi.
We got PR early July and landed with no issues shortly after in Pearson.
Sorry for not updating as often but it has been crazy adjusting life here, learning English, finding a job.
The landing experience was nice. The officer was quite friendly and informative.
However, the logistics was not so nice. The line was long and people were asked to line somewhere only to be told to move to another room and line again to be eventually told that the first place we were lining up in was correct all along.
The interview lasted about 30 minutes but the officer was quite friendly and took the time to also tell us some basic info (such as how to get SIN and OHIP) All in all it was a smooth process (other than the lining up)
Good luck everyone.
If you have any questions let me know.
