Your daughter can not sign the application. She will need her legal 'guardian' to sign it in her place.
Hi, I need you help.
Both Parents are canadian PR Holders and now father wants to sponsor his 1 year old daughter. Father is in canada, while child and mother are in their home country awaiting sponsorship for child.
Confusion is about forms.
1) In All Immigration Form...............Principal Applicant is CHILD. Right ?
2) For Additional Dependants/Declaration [IMM 0008DEP],............no need for this form. Correct ?
3) Schedule A – Background/Declaration [IMM 5669]..................Is it only required for a child, or both parents (who already are PR holders) should also fill their form. In this form at the top indicates ; whether you are • principal applicant • spouse or common-law partner or dependent children aged 18 years or older of the principal applicant ..................So where to mark if both parents have to fill this form too ?
In my point of view...........Please correct only following forms are required, in above scenrio (1 year old child sponsorship- both parents are canadian PR)
Sponsorship forms
•Document Checklist [IMM 5491]
•Application to Sponsor, Sponsorship Agreement and Undertaking [IMM 1344]
•Sponsorship Evaluation [IMM 5481]
Immigration forms
•Generic Application Form for Canada [IMM 0008]
•Schedule A – Background/Declaration [IMM 5669] .....................Is it required by Parents only or for child only ?
•Additional Family Information [IMM 5406] .................................Is it required by Parents only or for child only ?
