Good afternoon,
I hope you can help me.
I'm holding Canadian P. R. and residing in Quebec.
I would like to sponsor my child.
The question is if I'm receiving financial aid while taking franch full time courses will it be considered as a welfare?

It is assumed that your child was included in your own PR application as a non accompanying dependent or was not yet born so you should be fine to sponsor him/her to come live with you now.

Financial aid for school is not welfare.
