Child Minor <18YR Citizenship Application: What to expect

Hello Gurus,

Need your help. Have applied for my child 5 years old for citizenship and sent the application alongwith mine in the same envelop. I have received a test invite for Dec 2019. However none for my child's application.

Is that the norm? What should I expect for my child's application?

Any guidance as to what I should expect for my child's application would be much appreciated.

It's called minor application under sub-section 5(2). Once you are eligible, then they will get a request to send their COPR (landing stamped document) and PR card to CIC. Then CIC will send COPR and citizenship certificate back to your address. They don't need to attend the test or interview or oath. All the best.
