Child leave with a friend

Hi all,
Do you think a child who is about 11 years old can leave Canada and travel accompanied by one of his parents' friends. Of course this is with the parents' consent.If yes, what do you think are the requirements on part of the parents and the friend who is accompanying the child.

Written signed authorisation by parents with contact number. My kid at 11 travelled even without any accompanying adult.

Should the authorization paper done by a lawyer? This paper should be presented at the airport upon departure?

authorisation on plane paper will do, call the airline office to know their exact rules cause it varies for different airlines. Your friends particulars and your consent would be needed at the time of buying of ticket also.
