child car seater after landing

Dear All,

I am going to land in toronto on 22 February 2010 from UK and will stay in Canada for one week. My baby is 2 years 7 months old. Do I need to carry a baby car seater while moving around by taxi. Is it compulsury to use baby car seater for child by law? Please advise me.

If you rent a car, you can ask for car seat, they do charge few $s extra.
I heard that cab drivers can often arrange for infant car seats at airports. I would advice you call the travel desk at the airport you are planning to land.
