Thank you for the help, 3 weeks now :)

i have another question if you or anyone can maybe answer, The requirement is to provide 2 pcs of ID in order to apply for a citizenship certificate, which ID i can use and are acceptable for the newborn?

As I only have Child Registration Certificate (CRC) and a Family registration Certificate (FRC)?

In Pakistan I can get the newborns NICOP card but I wont be able to apply without a Limited Validity Passport of the child

Do i have to get a Pakistani passport for the child

I'd suggest reading the instructions. My understanding is that for newborns and children, sometimes getting sufficient ID is a problem and that you can provide an explanation as to why it is missing as it can vary by country. Again, speak to the consular section of the high commission.

Typically a birth certificate and national ID/passport would be sufficient. But again - instructions.

You can easily Get Nadra Birth Certificate From Pakistan. i know a person who is assisting since many years. you can simply connect on whats app 0302 2707 477. the team has a proper office in pakistan and are very reliable. me and my family applied for Nadra birth certiificate pakistan for children through this office. it was gladly accepted in UAE. Also they were able to get birth certificate attestation from mofa pakistan. which proofs to be valid in Canada. hope this helps

Thank you for the reply but Birth Certificates are not accepted as ID, I already have a Nadra Birth Certificate, I am applying for Proof of Canadian Citizenship of child born outside Canada, I had to get Smart ID from Nadra as providing 2 pcs of ID are requirements of a newborn the other I would use CRC with Certified English Translation

I am not sure why or when would one have to get MOFA attestation of Birth Certificate or at what point it’s required or needed

My case is at this point that I being a Canadian Citizen sponsored my wife from outside Canada which is Pakistan, we were at the medical stage of the Family sponsorship application and we deferred the x ray and did it just in December 2024 now IRCC is saying the application is at hold and will be processed once a decision is made on the Child’s Citizenship Application, for which i wanted to get the Certificate of Citizenship and applied online & then Apply for a Limited Validity Passport for the child so we can return to Canada
