Hello all,

My wife is waiting for her interview to finalize her permanent residence. We applied March 2012 so its been a long time in the making. We had a son born in Canada last year (May 2014) and I just realized that he's not mentioned in the application anywhere. Will this affect my wife's PR at all?
 
No this will not affect your wife's PR because the child was born in Canada and is a Canadian citizen.

I had the same thing happen and it did not affect my PR approval.

Hi

Though the birth of your Canadian child doesn't affect the app, you are required to inform CIC about any changes to family composition. Send an email to inform them.
