So you are on a work permit? What is your family income?

TO apply for CCB, a Temporary resident has to file if he/ she resides in Canada for 18 months. I want to know should we also get CCB lum sum payment of last 18 months?

Temporary permit holders are eligible to start receiving CCB after 18 months because they only qualify after 18 months there would never be retroactive payments.

Hey Guys,

I applied for child benefit while registering for my son online. I received a letter from CRA asking me to provide the missing information. In the letter, on the last income section, it says "In the last TWO years, if you and your spouse became a resident of Canada......complete the following information for a period before entering Canada".

I am trying to submit the form online; however the online form looks different than the one I was mailed and there is
is nothing on the online form that says in the last TWO years in the income information. Now I am confused if the income information is only required if I became resident in the last TWO years.

Me and my spouse became resident in 2018 and it is already more than 2 years. Do we still need to report income for the year of 2017 and 2016?

Please advise.
Hi, Did you receive the CCB? and did you had to provide any proof for the income you received outside of Canada?

Hi, I’m a student and my study permit expired July 30. We applied for SP Ext+ swop + TRV for two children. As I haven’t received my extension yet, I am not able to apply for PGWP. Here is my concern, last year I received CCB and also this past July but then August it stopped. Do you know if it is because I am in an implied status? Should the payments be retroactive once I apply for PGWP?
I appreciate any guidance or information.
