Hlo friends.
I am Msc chemistry and wes result is 4 yrs bachelor and 1 yr diploma.

I am working as Laboratory chemist in Electroplating industry.

My job duties match with NOC2211 (chemical technologist and technician). The educational requirements for this NOC is bachelors in Chemical engineering or related field.

There is an another NOC2112(CHEMIST) for which my educational requirement matches but job duties dont match exactly.

So, which NOC should I select? Anyone from same profession or any of these NOCs?

Usually it's best to go with whichever NOC best fits your job duties. Was your bachelors also in chemistry? That would count as a "related field."

I will say that I'm a research chemist (M.Sc. chemistry) and my job duties only matched about 30% of the NOC 2112 duties listed, but that's mostly because 2112 is such a broad category that combines a lot of different kinds of jobs into one code.

Yes I had chemistry in my bachelor's too. I think that NOC2112 is more about research as mentioned in job duties.

My job duties are as follows-
Formation of new Nickel , Chrome , Anodizing Both etc . Solution for setting of new plants with Boiler , D.M plants , R.O plant , E.T plants.

• Supervision of bright Nickel Plating Plant , Chrome Planting Plant , Satin Nickel , Acid Zinc Plant Phosphating & Auto black.

• Supervision of Vibratory Machine ( for delining & polishing ) Effluent treatment Plant , D.M Plant & facing problem of plants & solve them .

• Testing thickness of Nickel & Chrome , Zinc & other by coulmeter , Checking Throwing Power & receptivity of Chrome & Nickel plating by Hull cell. Testing Ductility & life of jobs by Natural Sal spray Apparatus. Sleave testing by sleave tester.
Analyze plating bath chemistry for various elements; monitor the variability of bath parameters & establish & modify control procedures; perform daily & weekly bath analyses; establish sampling plans; troubleshoot chemical process control problems & chemical problems; test for concentrations using titration & atomic absorption; maintain records including production quantities; maintain all analytical equipment in the lab; & maintain chemical & equipment supplies.
2. Assists in set up, testing, and maintaining of all parameters of the plating operations. Maintains a deposition of plating of the highest quality for superior marketability and fewer defects.
3. Chemical Analysis of all kind of Ferrous & Non-ferrous Alloys , M.S & S.S ,Electroplating solution by classical weight chemical methods.

So what should I do

It sounds like you'd match closer to 2211, as you said. Just use that one-- down the road it really doesn't matter that much. It's still skill type B, so no loss classifying yourself as such. You have a degree and "diploma" in a related field (chemistry).
